Mineral Oil
Mineral Oil is obtained from petroleum refining. Mineral Oil is a Lubricant Laxative that may be taken orally or as an enema. Lubricant Laxatives encourage bowel movements by coating the bowel (and the entire GI tract) and the stool mass with a waterproof film. This film helps to keep moisture in the stool. The stool remains soft through out transit and its passage is made easier. Select a brand name below for product information and manufacturer warnings.
